Israel/Palestine and violence as it relates to children?

I have to nail down a topic for a research paper in one of my classes, and while I was thinking about the fluidity of violence and borders in East and Central Africa (especially regarding the LRA’s movement in the region), STFU Penguins pointed out my other topic idea — that of Israel/Palestine and generational violence — might be easier.

So, tumblrverse, I’m wondering if any of you might have any recommendations for information on that specific topic. There is plenty of information on Israel/Palestine out there, but do you know of any specific resources dealing with violence and children?

I’m meeting with my professor a week from tomorrow to discuss my proposed topic, so just trying to get a feel for feasibility on this.

Palestinian children return to school but not all of them made it back. The signs are names of former classmates murdered by Israel during its most recent massacre of Palestinians in Gaza — ‘Operation Cast Lead’. The writing in red reads ‘Martyr’. (2009)
